“We do not condone the offensive and objectionable messages posted by Uju Anya today on her personal social media account,” a spokesperson for Carnegie Mellon said in an emailed statement. “Free expression is core to the mission of higher education, however, the views she shared absolutely do not represent the values of the institution, nor the standards of discourse we seek to foster.”

Anya received backlash for her tweets but doubled down by sending sexually explicit messages to her critics. One individual who replied “you stink”, to which Anya countered, “You mean like your pussy?” She told another detractor that he should be more “concerned about your wife’s orgasms”.
